Résine, acrylique, perle noire de Polynésie
5,9 x 4,1 x 4,3 inches (15 x 10,5 x 11 cm)

This work was inspired by molding a volcanic rock in resin that has first turned accidently into an intriguing cavity, before being interpretated into a mother of pearl shell by painting in it like a trompe-l'oeil.
Hanging Inside of it, the only non-artificial element, a tiny Tahitian black pearl, seems to levitate like a planet floating through the universe.
Cavity, as an extraordinary found treasure, offers a unique voyage of discovery into the infinitly small to the wildest universe.
